Avocet is an independent connection utility that works with VPN configuration keys provided by third-party services or self-hosted servers.
The application does not operate its own VPN servers, does not provide VPN subscriptions, and does not maintain any network infrastructure through which user traffic is routed. avocet simply allows users to import compatible connection configurations and establish connections to servers they have chosen themselves.
Avocet is designed to operate without collecting personal information.
The application does not require users to create an account or register before use.
The application does not collect, store, process, analyze, or transmit any data.
The privacy practices of the VPN server you choose are determined solely by the operator of that server. We recommend reviewing your VPN provider's privacy policy before using their service.
All VPN connections are established directly between the user's device and the server selected by the user.
Avocet does not generate or retain logs of user activity. Specifically, the application does not any record.
Because avocet does not collect personal information, it has no personal information to sell, share, rent, or disclose to third parties. We do not sell user data. We do not share user information with advertisers, data brokers, marketing companies, or analytics providers.
Configuration data remains on your device unless you choose to export or share it yourself.
While we implement reasonable security practices in the application, users are responsible for protecting their devices and keeping their VPN configuration keys confidential.
avocet is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements to the application or changes in legal requirements.
